“The 14th Five-Year Plan” — My Story of Happiness | Li Jinhui: From a Local “Rustic Expert” in the Yao Village to a “Master-Level Specialist” in Star Anise Cultivation and Management

This year marks the final year of the 14th Five-Year Plan. Funing County has firmly anchored itself to the “3815” strategic development goals, achieving remarkable progress in economic growth, industrial upgrading, urban–rural development, and social welfare. The combined output value of key industries such as green aluminum and star anise has risen sharply, while the appearance of both urban and rural areas and the well-being of residents have continued to improve. Behind these achievements lie the steadfast dedication and tireless efforts of countless ordinary people. To highlight this journey, the Funing County Media Center has launched a special series titled “The 14th Five-Year Plan: My Story of Happiness,” using small, personal narratives to showcase broader developments and illuminating the keys to Funing’s progress through the everyday lives of its citizens.

On September 26 this year, the Central Political Bureau meeting emphasized the need to effectively implement existing policies and to vigorously introduce new policies. Recently, the country has intensively issued policies in the fields of finance, real estate, and consumption, and more favorable policies will be introduced in succession. It is a private enterprise specializing in efficient ecological agricultural and forestry investment, research and development, planting and processing trade, biological control, landscaping, and the development and operation of ecological agricultural and forestry leisure tourism. The company has invested in the integrated project of planting and processing of star anise in Funing, with a total investment of 250 million RMB, which officially started construction on July 28, 2022, and has now been completed and put into production. Funing: Technology empowers the planting of octagonal crops, assisting rural revitalization.

On December 18, the Forestry and Grassland Bureau of Funing County and Yunnan Zhongmu Agricultural and Forestry Development Co., Ltd. jointly carried out the construction of a star anise demonstration base and concentrated training for practical technical talents at the San Yashu star anise seed breeding and seed collection base in the Napin Village Committee of Xinhua Town. This event attracted more than 60 star anise growers from the county to actively participate, adding new vitality to the development of the star anise industry in Funing County.
