From November 29 to 30, at the invitation of the People's Government of Funing County, Wu Mengqiang, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Miao Wang County, Vietnam, led a delegation from Miao Wang County to visit Funing County for work.
On the morning of November 29, the Miao Wang County delegation arrived at the China-Vietnam Border Crossing No. 456, where they were warmly welcomed by our county's delegation. Both sides conducted an on-site inspection of the cross-border facility construction at Border Crossing No. 456 and exchanged opinions. In the afternoon of the same day, both delegations held a working meeting in the conference room on the first floor of Yunnan Zhongmu Agricultural and Forestry Development Co., Ltd.
Li Wenxiong, Deputy County Mayor, on behalf of the CPC Funing County Committee and the People's Government of Funing County, warmly welcomed the Miao Wang County People's Committee delegation's visit, briefly reviewed the cooperation between the two counties since 2023, and proposed work suggestions for the future cooperation direction between the two counties.
Wu Mengqiang expressed sincere gratitude for the warm reception and thoughtful arrangements from Funing County, introduced the basic situation of Miao Wang County, and agreed with Li Wenxiong on the future cooperation direction between the two counties.
In a candid and friendly atmosphere, both sides engaged in in-depth and honest exchanges in areas such as friendly interactions, border management, industrial cooperation, cross-border labor, and health cooperation. Both sides proposed good opinions and suggestions, further clarified the direction and goals of future exchanges and cooperation, reached multiple consensuses, and signed a meeting summary.
Officials from the County Agricultural Science Bureau, County Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, County Culture and Tourism Bureau, County Public Security Bureau Exit-Entry Administration, County Foreign Affairs Office, County Port Office, as well as relevant officials from Tianpeng Town and Guichao Town participated in the talks.
During the visit, the Vietnamese Miao Wang County delegation also visited Tianpeng Port, labor dispatch companies, Yunnan Zhongmu Agricultural and Forestry Development Co., Ltd., Yunnan Funing Xianggui Sugar Industry Co., Ltd., and the sugarcane planting base of the Nala Village Committee in Guichao Town for inspection.
On November 30, after concluding the work visit, the Vietnamese Miao Wang County delegation exited the country from Tianpeng Port.
