In order to strengthen the construction of practical technology talent teams in rural areas of our county and fully mobilize the enthusiasm of a large number of practical technology talents to support the "One County, One Industry" initiative, with the approval of the County Party Committee's Talent Work Leading Group Office, the County Forestry and Grass Bureau and Yunnan Zhongmu Agricultural and Forestry Development Co., Ltd. jointly carried out technical training and centralized testing for the professional title evaluation of practical technology talents in star anise in Funing County on December 8.

The event was held at the training center of Zhongmu Company, where 13 township and village party organizations recommended candidates based on merit. After preliminary review by the township agricultural comprehensive service center, the County Star Anise Research Institute carefully reviewed the materials, and 105 participants who passed the review attended the event.

During the event, experts from Zhongmu Company conducted training on scientific management techniques for star anise for the attendees, providing detailed explanations on high-yield cultivation, low-yield forest transformation, pest and disease control, crown grafting, good variety selection, and nursery management, while promoting the basic situation of the star anise industry in Funing, effectively improving the professional technical level and planting management enthusiasm of the trainees.

After the training, the County Star Anise Research Institute organized a centralized test on-site, with the test questions divided into seedling cultivation, planting, and management categories. After the test, the papers were collected by the County Star Anise Research Institute for unified review and correction.

It is understood that individuals who obtain the professional title of practical technology talents in star anise in Funing County can enjoy a one-time subsidy, with the subsidy standard ranging from 1,000 to 3,000 yuan. At the same time, they will be included in the talent pool and teacher pool, and will receive preferential policies such as priority recommendation for technical training and participation in series of special evaluations.
