2024 Funi County Star Anise Industry Labor and Skills Competition

To promote the development of the star anise industry in our county and better organize and mobilize the vast number of workers (migrant workers) to fully play the role of the main force of the working class, according to the requirements of the "Wenshan Prefecture Implementation of the 'Yunnan Province Labor and Skills Competition Three-Year Action Plan (2024-2026)' Task Division Plan",the County Federation of Trade Unions, County Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, County Forestry and Grass Bureau, Yunnan Zhongmu Agricultural and Forestry Development Co., Ltd., and Yunnan Star Anise Industry Research Institute Co., Ltd. jointly organized the 2024 Funi County Star Anise Industry Labor and Skills Competition. In order to ensure the smooth progress of the competition activities, this plan is specially formulated.

The vast number of star anise growers and enterprise employees within the jurisdiction of Funi County.

III. Competition Time

From July 15, 2024, to September 30, 2024.

• Organizational Leadership

This labor and skills competition is hosted by the County Federation of Trade Unions; Yunnan Zhongmu Agricultural and Forestry Development Co., Ltd. and Yunnan Star Anise Industry Research Institute Co., Ltd. are responsible for organizing; the County Human Resources and Social Security Bureau and County Forestry and Grass Bureau are co-organizers.

• Competition Content

(1) Labor Competition. Based on ensuring the orderly production of the vast number of star anise growers, the main content revolves around"Comparing Yield and Safety". Participants can register to compete in the single tree yield and per mu yield of star anise, or they can register to participate only in the single tree yield or per mu yield competition. 1. Comparing Yield. Strengthen the scientific management of star anise trees, effectively improve the yield and quality of star anise, achieve quality improvement and efficiency enhancement, and steadily increase star anise yield. 2. Comparing Safety. Adhere to the concept of safe development, prioritize safety, focus on prevention, and implement comprehensive governance to enhance safety production awareness, effectively prevent safety production accidents, and eliminate the occurrence of falls during the harvesting process.

(2) Skills Competition. Conducted simultaneously with the labor competition for single tree yield and per mu yield, a star anise picking skills competition will be held during the measurement of single tree yield or per mu yield.

VI. Organization and Registration

When registering, please bring your household registration book, personal ID card, and a copy of the forest rights certificate.(If there is no forest rights certificate, please provide relevant proof) and photos of the star anise trees (forest) that need to be evaluated to fill out the registration form at Yunnan Zhongmu Agricultural and Forestry Development Co., Ltd. in the Naxie Agricultural Products Processing Zone, Funi County. VII. Evaluation and Incentives

(1) Labor Competition. Based on the quantified scoring results of single tree yield or per mu yield and safety picking conditions, participants will be ranked according to their scores. Two-thirds of the participating teams will be recognized, with the first prize awarded to 10% of the total number of participating teams, the second prize to 20%, and the third prize to 30%. The organizer will jointly issue a notice of commendation and award certificates, bonuses, and reward materials.1. Single Tree Yield Award:

First Prize: Bonus of 500 yuan, and 8 packs of 25 kg mixed fertilizer, valued at 1280 yuan; Second Prize: Bonus of 400 yuan, and 6 packs of 25 kg mixed fertilizer, valued at 960 yuan; Third Prize: Bonus of 300 yuan, and 4 packs of 25 kg mixed fertilizer, valued at 640 yuan; Encouragement Award: 1 pack of 25 kg mixed fertilizer, valued at 160 yuan.2. Per Mu Yield Award:800 yuan, and 10 packs of 25 kg mixed fertilizer, valued at 1600 yuan; Second Prize: Bonus of 600 yuan, and 8 packs of 25 kg mixed fertilizer, valued at 1280 yuan; Third Prize: Bonus of 400 yuan, and 6 packs of 25 kg mixed fertilizer, valued at 960 yuan; Encouragement Award for 4 individuals: 1 pack of 25 kg mixed fertilizer, valued at 160 yuan.

(2) Skills Competition. Based on the weight of star anise fruits picked within the specified time, participants will be ranked according to the weight. The first place will be awarded the title of2. Per Mu Yield Award:"2024 Funi County Star Anise Picking Champion"; the second and third places will be awarded the title of "2024 Funi County Star Anise Picking Experts"; the fourth to sixth places will be awarded the title of "2024 Funi County Star Anise Picking Outstanding Contestants", and the organizer will jointly issue a notice of commendation and award certificates, bonuses, and reward materials.

The costs required for the labor and skills competition will be jointly borne by the County Federation of Trade Unions and Yunnan Zhongmu Agricultural and Forestry Development Co., Ltd., including: venue arrangement fees, certificates, bonuses, etc. will be borne by the County Federation of Trade Unions, with costs based on actual payments; reward materials will be borne by Yunnan Zhongmu Agricultural and Forestry Development Co., Ltd.“2024年富宁县八角采摘状元”；第二名至第三名的授予“2024年富宁县八角采摘能手”；第四名至第六名的授予“2024年富宁县八角采摘优胜选手”，由主办方联合发文进行通报表扬，并颁发证书、奖金及奖励物资。

劳动和技能竞赛所需的费用由县总工会和云南众木农林发展有限公司共同承担，其中：场地布置费、证书、奖金等由县总工会承担，费用以实际支付为准；奖励物资由云南众木农林发展有限公司承担。
