On September 24, 2023, Lv Ming, Deputy Secretary of the Hongkou District Committee and District Mayor of Shanghai, led a delegation from the Hongkou District Party and Government to conduct an inspection and exchange activity at Yunnan Zhongmu Agricultural and Forestry Development Co., Ltd.

Accompanied by Chairman Huang Qingbo, Lv Ming and his team visited the company's star anise processing plant, sorting workshop, killing green workshop, drying greenhouse, trading service center, and other locations. They gained a detailed understanding of the integrated project for the planting, processing, and trading of star anise in Funing, as well as the construction of the agricultural product testing center supported by Hongkou District, and provided suggestions regarding existing difficulties and issues.

During the inspection, Chairman Huang Qingbo expressed gratitude for the continuous care and support from Hongkou District, Shanghai. Currently, every batch of star anise products produced by the company needs to be transported to Kunming for testing, significantly increasing production costs. Once the agricultural product testing center supported by Hongkou District is completed, the testing range for agricultural products can reach over 200 items, filling the gap in market testing for star anise products in the Funing area, saving testing costs, and providing great convenience for the company to establish a green food base and an organic food base.

Lv Ming fully affirmed the company's production and operation model, the mechanism for connecting farmers' interests, and its future development direction. He pointed out that the company should aim for a clear direction, seize development opportunities, and strengthen development confidence, leveraging the current advantages of star anise's unique resources to promote the growth of the star anise industry and fully utilize the important role of private enterprises in rural industrial revitalization.
